Brian Eno – Ambient 1 (Music For Airports)

Very beautiful pressing of this album, after a good clean there are noticeable crackles but not in an overbearing way and in my opinion it adds to the experience a lot, and overall it sounds very well balanced dynamically speaking.

The unnecessary few seconds/minutes silence at the end of these tracks disrupts the experience, album doesn’t flow as smoothly.

Mine sounded bad but it just needed cleaning. Put it through the spin clean and it sounded fine.

Minor thing, but I've noticed the label for side two lists the first track as '1/1' instead of '1/2'. Is this a common error across all versions of this pressing?

Picked up a NM copy of this pressing and it sounds spectacular. Really, really great. Haven’t compared with UK or any other but don’t feel the need to.

My copy is clean and bright. Sorry everyone's copy isn't as good as mine.

I had no idea this was a bootleg! I bought it back in 2016 from Amazon. Solid pressing.

Popping can be heard through 1/1 and 1/2 even though I've done heavy cleaning to it.
Sad, but it is what it is.

I just added this to my collection and I couldn't be happier. I already had a '82 US Editions EG pressing in NM condition that sounds really nice, but this 45 rpm cut takes it to a whole new level ! Intoxicating and soporific soundscapes... luxurious space between the grooves just completely opens this up and let's it bloom . I can totally bliss out to this and it doesn't bother me to flip the LPs ... C'mon, if you want to fall asleep to this then play the freaking CD! Each track gets its own well deserved slab of real estate and I'd venture to assume THIS never sounded better. Plus the last track 2/2 is the complete version!
