A landmark release - a landmark album - both for WARP - the 90s - and LFO. A 1 of a kind. An essential listen or 2 or 3 by anyone into electronic and electro and techno - take time and check it. Proud owner of the vinyl since it dropped. Made during the golden era. Orbital and FSOL fans will like it. There's a couple standout dance jams with a distinct heavy LFO edge. Superb production and matsering - as expected, by who's involved. 8.5/10

This is my favorite LP of all time. Mark Bell (RIP) was a true genius who never put out a whack record, as far as I can tell. This was a man who was in total and absolute control of his machines. I've been into electronic music since '96 (when they used to play Daft Punk's 'Da Funk' on rock radio here in the US) but have yet to find something that sounds quite this good. The productions range from hard, driving, aggressive to melodic, soulful, and jazzy often in the span of a single track. Also, this LP is an interesting and somewhat uncommon example of a post-techno (don't say IDM) record from this era without overt references to Jungle rhythms and breakbeats (which I still love). Repress this record Warp!

This is sound of a genius... Missing ! I prefer Frequencies, but this one is more "advanced" for sure.
This is a pure art object, it have to be listen like this. This is "advance art".
Missing you Mark Bell

Difficult to argue that this isn't the best techno 'album' of all time. Production amazing and range of tracks simply perfect. An absolute classic and a must have for anyone with an interest in electronic music. Such a a shame Mark Bell died at 43.

Mature work during a time when techno (and me) just grown up. My favorite work of LFO when I was sliding from alternative music to Tekno. In my oppinion this is more kinda industrial techno music. There were a lot of creative artists (even Bowie) crossing boundaries in mid of 90s.

Enough has been said of this album and its place in history. Most are correct. This is going to stand the test of time and prove itself to be the focused and embodied work of an inspired genius. Desert island top three work for me. Just perfect.

One of the best albums in electronic music of all time .. R.I.P Mark Bell

this is a great album.
LFO one of my favorites.
Until the year of the dissolution, in 1996, the group was composed of Gez Varley and Mark Bell. In 2003, Bell has reformed the project as one member after the name LFO.
The group is considered one of the pioneers of the bass-heavy techno music.

Probably the finest album of electronic music ever released. 'Frequencies' is nice too but this one has so much more depth to it. The Pioneers strikes back, so to speak, and they leave a permanent mark in the timeline, once again....
