This pressing sounds not bad, but the manufacturer should do a better controlling!
I had six copy's, and all of them had scuffs dirt and scratches, one less then the other, but that's still bad for the prices ask this days.
And every copy had a lot of pops and clicks, maybe the marbled one was better, but for the black one, I would say don't spend your money on it!- Edited 2 years ago

it's mastered about 4db too quiet. so the louder passages sound fine and have the impact they should, but the quiet moments are full of pops and clicks because they're that much closer to the noise floor. first playback of a Mint sealed 2021 copy, plain black vinyl, sleeve dust dry and wet cleaned beforehand. didn't matter. the noise is just inevitable when the signal is that quiet, and it's a shame because it ruins all the subtleties of this soundtrack. until the third time when maybe they'll try to get it right, all but the loudest tracks still sound better on the 1994 CD.

I have the marbled release of this as well, and the records are very clean. The soundstage and stereo separation are pure joy. I'm glad Varese went all out this time. It has paid off. I'm surprised that this marbled version isn't here on Discogs. At least yet.

Thanks.- Wow. Glad I only paid 30$ for this. What a shame that vinyl has come to this, everyone should enjoy it. Know there is a solid black version out there for much less.

I have standard black pressing. This is a MUCH BETTER release than their 2015 pressing. Sounds great! The 2015 pressing was so bad, so I had hopes they would go out of their way to make sure this release was top notch, and they did!- This pressing is an embarrassment. It's the worst pressed record in my entire collection. Crackles and pops all over (after cleaning), and it filthy strait out of the package (paper dust covered the entire record).

I got the MARBLE Variant and it looks and sounds fantastic. Lot's of nuance and depth in this pressing.
