Notes
The second DC release on Factory, released in November 1981.
Recorded in five hours on a TEAC 4-track tape recorder, putting a drum machine through an echo unit whilst playing the guitar, and then mixed in the studio in another two hours.
"LC" stands for "Lotta Continua" (meaning "the struggle continues" in Italian), a former left-wing student-workers movement and its eponymous publication.
The track "Jacqueline" is dedicated to Jacqueline Mitchell (aka Jackie Williams (4)), wife of Durutti Column drummer Bruce Mitchell.
The track "The Missing Boy" is dedicated to Ian Curtis of Joy Division.

As it’s from Manchester, fair to say, it’s the bees knees. Great album. My copy has the misspelling on the spine but just a regular art printed inner. DNAP 😂🐝🐝referencing LC (LP, Album) FACT 44
Do the pictures really show the first pressing? My variant has just one pressing ring, but runouts A1 / B1 as stated.- Edited 11 months ago

Most definitely the best pressing you will ever hear of this album. Super quiet vinyl allows the listener to hear full range of musical dynamics on what is a cheaply recorded album. The original UK version sounds subdued compared to this and the LTM/Factory Benelux reissues sound very digitally processed and are as noisy as hell. - Edited 11 months ago

Does anyone know if this pressing is exactly like the original release? A different take was used on one song on the "Return" reissue and it's infuriating because the original is so much better. I don't want to buy this and something else has been swapped. Thanks for any info. - Edited one year ago

Mavuchka replaces Messidor on this Canadian version of the LC Factory LP -- both are wonderful songs but for me Mavuchka is a must have for DC fans. It can also be found on some DC compilations. referencing LC (LP, Album, Reissue, LP, Compilation, 7", 45 RPM, Single, All Media, Remastered) FBN 10
The sound is very good. The mix holds up well, I felt that I was listening to a new recording, which says as much about the quality of the mastering and pressing, but also says a lot about how unique the music is. Oh and the “7” sounds beautiful.- 2-08 is actually Verbier (For Patti), not the original 7'' version that now can be found on The Durutti Column - Deux Triangles Deluxe

Has anyone heard this? I'm wondering about the pressing and sound quality.referencing LC (LP, Album, Reissue, LP, Compilation, 7", 45 RPM, Single, All Media, Remastered) FBN 10
This entry is NOT an official release. ALL copies of the 2016 FBN 10 vinyl edition come with a 7" (see Discogs release 8491249), it is not sold WITHOUT 7". I assume this entry functions for people who bought the complete set (2xLP+7") keep the 7" but want to flog the double-vinyl. Unfair. I recommend this entry/release (Discogs release 8458612) being removed.referencing LC (LP, Album) FACT 44
LC (Lotta Continua) was not an anarchist slogan but an italian extra parliament comunist movement very popular amongst young people during the 70's.
