Can anyone comment on the sound of this pressing? How much does it compare to music for nations pressings?- Anyone could comment about the sound of this release please. Basically it's a picture disc so it would be surprising to get something as good as a regular black/monochrome pressing, but let's see...

This pressing sounds amazing. It blows my OG Ride the Lighting away. Literally like you’re in the rehearsal studio listening to them play it. It’s like a punch in the face. I A/B’d this numerous times with the OG press and can’t get over the difference. It’s jaw dropping.- Edited one year agoI read this blue pressing is as rare as the red, green, and other French label color pressings . Also 500 were pressed of each color. There is a repress of the blue with a different label (mfn with flag draped working man ) Sounds great. Crank it.
- There seems to be way too many of these floating around. There are over 2000 "have"s on here out of only 3000 made. It's highly unlikely that 2/3 of the people that own this have logged it on here. Combine that with the few comments about 2 B-side labels, etc., I think it's safe to say there are counterfeit versions of this that have infiltrated the market.

Despite the original pressing being all analogue, pressed shortly after the master tape was made, after the reissue with the Ride the Lightning boxset the price plummeted. Seems all most record buyers want is a record with a pretty picture on it.- This item has never been released seperately and is part of this box set; https://www.discogs.com/release/515390-Metallica-Limited-Edition-Vinyl-Box-Set
