Almost great
Actually very good debut. Everything is technically proficient.
Hower, it takes a couple of listens to get into the melodies and riffs and even then you might feel confused at times. Also adjusting eq is very advised. Prepare for Satan's having a party soundtrack.
Mayhem cover is awesome.
P.S. Frost drumming speed here is completely out of this world. Incredible musician.

Says 13 Dynamic Range but it's really 12.7DR. The CD master's is 6.5DR for comparison. Twice as dynamic.
Maybe the best that this album has sounded, many moons ago I had the Apocalyptic empire reissue and this one seems a little better. Lots of separation, nothing to lose here. Reasonably flat record, the stylus doesn't bounce, no pops on my copy. Very light crackle on mine in the beginning, may just be dust.
This sounds great! I had the cd version back in the day when it first came out... before anyone had heard of this band!! Vinyl sounds just as killer, and it is a gorgeous pic disc. \m/ 1349 fans get you one it's great, comes with a hype sticker too! :) \m/- these first press 1349 records have extremely thin magazine-cover thickness album jackets.
