      I could compare with the first mono and stereo US. This one sounds better, actually. clearer, less messy, the parts with shouted songs no longer saturate, a real treat.

        This is the LP Serge Gainsbourg transposed note for note to create "New York USA" (Akiwowo), and also "Joanna" and "Tatoué Jérémie" on his 1964 "Percussions" LP !

            Love this album! I was very lucky to have taken a couple of drum classes with the great man himself back in 1989. Even had dinner with him and some of his troop.

            I was pretty young and wish that I could go back and do it again with my adult mind that would have appreciated it so much more than I did at the time!
            That being said, those couple classes, and meeting with him, did start a lifelong love of hand drumming and the power and thrill of a drum circle!
            I'm the drum, You're the drum, we're the drum!!

              I think that the albums that had CBS stickers were American Columbia albums that were exported to Europe and other places in which the name Columbia belonged to EMI.
