I have this promotion but it is black vinyls on mine. Bought this back in 1988/89.
Is there actually on promotion in both brown and black vinyl?
I think you can not see clearly on the pictures that this actually is brown.

A great album that still entertains. The pressing is perfect, the records are flat, they play cleanly and without distortion. The sound is even better for me than the first 3 albums, it really listens well. The cover is standard pocket, the printing is high quality and serves its purpose. I recommend it. Have fun...

The album is in dire need of a remix. The annoying thing is that the bass is there, Guitar Hero or Rock Band (can't remember which video game) which used the original multitracks has the original bass tracks included. It sounds so much better in my opinion with the bass guitar in, and it was a poor decision from whoever it was that insisted that the bass be cut altogether for the stereo mixdown which has been used since.

Great pressing for me, no issues to report, and damn, this sounds great. I had completely forgotten how good this release it. Just a shame it couldn't have come in a gatefold.

To najbardziej złożona i progresywna płyta w dorobku Metalliki. Długie, wieloczęściowe kompozycje, mnóstwo zmian tempa i riffów. „One” to klasyk, ale niemal każdy numer jest jak mała suita thrashowa. Brzmienie jest surowe, z legendarnie „wyciętym” basem, co do dziś dzieli fanów. To nie jest najbardziej przystępny album, ale pokazuje zespół w szczycie ambicji kompozytorskich. Metallica jako prog-thrashowa maszyna.

Echoing what others have said, the low end is really phenomenal. I only have whatever remaster Spotify has to compare to, but comparing this to that would be like comparing a delicious meal to a plate of shit. I have some slight surface noise on mine, but I'm fairly sure a cleaning will get rid of that. Probably can't listen to this album in any other way in the future.
