Its as if these two brothers where channeling mid period Michael Rother era Cluster circa 1975/76 and Eno whilst experimenting in their home studio. Much use of early Roland drum boxes and various warm guitars run thru tons vocoder with added shimmer and melodic interplay at a nice downtempo pulse.... Superb discovery of the home recording duos brilliant sublime instrumental output. Kudo's for the labels releasing Woo on cd!

Wonderful, lovely music from the under appreciated Ives brothers, Woo. The music is soothing enough to be the perfect background soundtrack. Or listened to with a dedicated ear for all it's intricate beauty. The album compiles unreleased pieces from a wide stretch of time yet it flows as cohesive as a new, original album. As with all Drag City releases, you don't get a download coupon for the music. The back cover is a flipback which is a bit rare to see these days. Highly recommended.
