I can say that this album may naturally have been mastered with a slightly bright quality. I have no other source beside car radios to judge it against. The overall sound of the instruments including the drums are on the lean side. Not as rich and vivid as some of the best synth oriented albums can be. However the vocal performance and the songwriting are really top shelf. No denying that. The pressing is clear. Little to no noise. But on a revealing system this album can sound a little lacking in warmth. A little denser synth tones, a little sprinkle of presence in the bass guitar, and a tiny bit more kick in the drums would really make this a perfect album.

Beautiful pressing. Sounds amazing, the disc is flat, silent. One of the best sounding records I own. Can't help but to dance around the room when I put this on.

Beautiful. Absolutely the treatment this album deserves. No issues, no complaints, just a great album I love mixed immaculately and pressed amazingly. Makes me feel emotions I thought I stopped being able to feel.

My new copy was bought signed--I bought the album at Other Music (R.I.P.) in NYC back when it came out. Anyone else have a cover signed by the band members?

As good an album as you can ask for; a consistent, high level of quality all the way through.

First track "Seasons (Waiting On You)" brings to mind great tune from Underworld's track "Born Slippy". But this track is more gently.
