Another repress is coming later this year.. information coming straight from Jonin.. so don’t feed those sharks that ask for way too much money.. shame on those people capitalizing on artists’s creativity

I have the original pressing on black vinyl and this new pretty pink remaster. For me the remaster is just wonderful and gives the pressing of one of the greatest records ever made the quality it deserves.

This version is a remaster by Rashad Becker. As always he makes the magic happen. Every sound is suspended in space and so tangible you can almost touch it. The perfect vibe for this music. The pressing is pretty much perfect in fact the whole album is a masterpiece in my opinion.

Boomkat still has copies available. Amazing pressing. Not sure why someone would have paid 60 euros for it when you can still get it at cost?

Surely "The Body You Deserve" is cemented as a classic now.

No complaints on the packaging and the vinyl plays superbly, the bass really hits that sweet spot.

I don't have a copy of the original release to compare to but I have to disagree with the comment below. I think the whole package is brilliant and HTRK have done a phenomenal job with it. Beautiful artwork and colour palette, I always appreciate an insert and having the lyric sheet is a nice touch. The wax itself is a lovely dusky pink and the pressing sounds flawless on my set up. Genuinely one of the best sounding records in my collection. 10/10 for me. I guess it's all subjective ay?...

Very disappointed in this reissue. From the sleeve to the lyric sheet to the pressing itself, the quality across the board is inferior to the original release. Kind of strange, considering this is meant to celebrate the 10th anniversary of a classic record. I don't regret buying it, since I never miss a chance to support HTRK, but all the parties involved really half-assed this one.

HTRK returns to Ghostly International with PSYCHIC 9-5 CLUB, an album that immediately delves into a deep melancholy from the outset with "Give It Up." The mood lingers into the echoing vocals of "Blue Sunshine" -- and, really, across the entire album. The instrumental "Feels Like Love" is a long, sustained breath, while a touch of brightness in the form of higher-pitched tones slips onto "Soul Sleep" and "Love is Distraction." Meanwhile, the layered vocals on "Wet Dream" indeed lend that track a dreamier quality. The sound design here is cleaner than on earlier album, and that's to the music's benefit, whether with the sustained tones on "Chinatown Style" or the uptick in tempo that comes with "The Body You Deserve." It's a cool, mesmerizing listen.
