Excellent pressing of an amazing soundtrack. Full, wide sound and my pressing was nice and flat. I like having some of the dialogue from the film over parts of the music, it adds an interesting tone and is tastefully peppered in throughout.

I have the Simply-Vinyl Pressing, but i'm missing the first disc (Sides 1/2). For that i've received TWO second discs (Sides 3/4)
Seller said that was a mistake in the pressing on Simply-Vinyls side, still paid full. Wouldn't normaly mix-n-match, but right now... it's just incomplete.
Anyone maybe interested in a trade?

Komischer Soundtrack. Da der Film hart war, hätte ich eigentlich auch harte Musik erwartet. Dies wird mit Leonard Cohen und Bob Dylan nicht erfüllt. Da der Film für mich aber auch einzigartig ist, ist der Sampler bei genauerer Betrachtung auch irgendwie einzigartig. Er enthält sowohl aktuelle Musikarten wie HipHop (Dr. Dre und Tha Dogg Pound), Schweinerock (L7) und Industrial (Nine Inch Nails und Lard), als auch alte Rockmusik (Patti Smith) und Folk (eben Bob Dylan). Gute-Laune-Musik ist mit "Drums a go-go" auch vorhanden. Die Mischung geht auf. Gemischt hat übrigens kein Geringerer als Trent Reznor. Besonders die Untermischung der Samples aus dem Film gefallen, zu hören in "Moon over greene county", "Sweet Jane", "You belong to me" und "Sex is violent". Cool finde ich auch, daß Juliette Lewis mit "Born bad" zu hören ist. Die besonders zu erwähnenden Stücke sind allerdings "Burn" von Nine Inch Nails und "Forkboy" von Lard (Projekt von Jello Biafra und Ministry), die hier zwei absolute Industrial-Hammertracks abgeliefert haben und den harten Teil des Film musikalisch genau widerspiegeln. Schaut Euch den Film an, hört Euch den Soundtrack danach an, und Ihr werdet meine Kritik verstehen.

TENGO LA VERSIÓN EN VINYL VERDE, ESPERABA VER ALGÚN INSERT O QUIZÁ LAS FOTOS DE MALORY QUE MUESTRA LA EDICIÓN DE ESTE AÑO. PERO SIN DUDA ES UNA TREMENDA JOYA ESTE SOUNTRACK, DE INICIO A FIN ES UNA BELLEZA. EN LO PERSONAL ME ENCANTO QUE ESTA PELI TENGA LAS ROLAS DE LEONARD COHEN. SALUDOS DESDE KITO- ECUADOR.
I saw this at a local record store marked up, I obsessed for two weeks before pulling the trigger. I was more th than happy, everything about this edition is worth every penny. It's beautiful, sounds incredible, well put together selections and comes in exceptional packaging. From cover to record it's high quality. The song selection is among the most diverse I've ever heard on a record, although I wish they left the rap songs off the list it does add to the diversity of genre. You get punk, metal, new age, country, rock, and some things I can't label. One of the best I have.

Got this new and both discs are pretty noticeably wavy/warped but my U-turn Orbit plays them flawlessly and the sound is really good so I'm not too worried. Definitely a nice sound to this pressing. The gatefold is glossy and it comes in a thick releasable plastic sleeve, so, aside from the warp, a nice production overall.

If you ever get the opportunity to purchase a vinyl at the movies deluxe pressing, don't hesitate! Do it! Such a great company. The store I bought this album from had it priced for the standard black deluxe but when I opened it, it was black smoke and blood edition...I nearly shit myself. Sound is stellar, a must for Reznor addicts.
