Lab Rat 3 is a masterpiece. No more words required.

Good instrumental tracks, great pressing, though as far as I'm concerned, it just as well could have been put on 1 disc instead of 2 (like 2 sides containing just one 8 minute song...).

Just want to highlight some CD liner notes from the older Drexciya compilation "The Quest" where The Unknown Writer notes: "Recent experiments have shown mice able to breath liquid oxygen. Even more shocking and conclusive was a recent instance of a premature human infant saved from certain death by breathing liquid oxygen through its underdeveloped lungs. These facts combined with reported sightings of gill men and swamp monsters in the coastal swamps of the southeastern United States make the slave trade theory startlingly feasible." A blogger at drexciyaresearchlab blogspot also theorizes about this album's chronology in the Storm Series and in relation to Grava 4 describing another fan interpretation of the Lab Rat XL chapter as "They prepare their bodies for the physical trip home by carrying out 6 biological exercises."

One of the classic Drexciyan storms, really good music and a great vinyl press, all in all with deep bass and wide soundscape, over all a lot better mastered and pressed than the original Drexciyan Tresor vinyls.

Overall a satisfying Album, a good example electronic music, my favorite musics are the first 3 tracks, they have nice melodies. It´s a pity however that this albums offers a short time of music.

At a certain time in space James and i discussed productionmethods. An easy way to approach the quality achieved using professional methods is the 3-way method. I won't get into technical details, but it involves adding noise to the recording prior to post-processing and then making the best out of it :) We kind of hoped that Alden Tyrell would understand that the noise didn't belong into the recording. James thought no producer would do it and i thought that any pro would make the best out of the initial recording. James was right.
