Show All 13 Reviews- In the early noughties I was getting a stready flow of old skool set bookings; this was one of those EPs that never left the bag.
Dreamworld is a standout here but they're all stunners. 5* - Urban hardcore tracks, 1992 style but with heavy Belgian 1991 influenced techno sounds i.e hoovers, heavy stabs etc. The finest rhythm section release for sure, and the most played out back in time, especially for the ''Dreamworld'' and ''Perfect Love 2am'' which are the standout and infamous tracks of this EP. Monster historic release.
- On this 12" "Dreamworld" is the standout track and the more heavily played when released, closely followed by "Perfect Love 2am".
It kicks off with its instantly recognizable synth, soon followed by the beats coming in that the drive some real energy into the track, the synth builds and soon drops into a bigger rift when the breakdown hits. Great tune pack full of energy, like most of the Rhythm Section releases all the tracks are pretty strong & worth checking out - Edited 3 years agoReminds me of tripping on 3 acid tabs at alton towers on me 17th birthday 1992 , still ain't come down yet :-/ what an awesome day :-)
- Dreamworld is a great tune ! Total old-skool breakbeat hardcore rhythm ! First heard it on a dreamscape mix back in the '90 s.... still good 4 m !
- Edited 4 years agoWOW, Perfect Love 8am, i can almost feel that intro tearing my scrotum off... TUNE'''''''''''''''' am i mad or does anyone else feel the need to gurn when listening to belting tunes like this.
- Edited one year agoI could almost taste the summer sweat of '92 after hearing any of these tracks. My fave has to be Burnin' Up, but the utopian splendor of Perfect Love gives me chills. Dreamworld is a perfect intro to this EP, and expect nothing less thereafter. Easily one of the most untouchable hardcore releases ever released. on another level, that only the few of raves past could possibly understand.
- LOVE THIS E.P. .THE TUNES ARE AWESOME,ESPECIALLY PERFECT LOVE 8 A.M. MIX.THE WOMANS VOCAL DOES IT FOR ME.GOOSEBUMPS TIME!?
