Does someone know if this version got the orginal David Cross live parts, or the Eddie Jobson studio overdubs?

This is a real treat. Beautiful pressing and packaging with the booklet and poster. Wonderful to have a complete concert on vinyl featuring the Wetton / Bruford lineup. If you get the change to buy this at a half way decent price, do not pass on it. Well worth it.

Brilliant pressing, hardly any surface noise, pops and crackles which is quite impressive seeing as this was probably pressed around 79-84

I'm sorry, this is a question, and not a review. For anyone who's heard this 8-track version, how are the transitions between the song-parts on different sides handled? I.e., A2--B1 for Lament, B3--C1 for Asbury Park, and C2--D1 for Easy Money.

Missed out on the double-LP of this. I have the CD with the extra tracks, and sadly, it sounds better than this pressing. A little flat sounding and compressed here. Sorry.

Excellent live album of sonically powerful heavy complex prog - this line up comprised of Fripp / Bruford / Wetton / Cross may be the finest incarnation of KC & finds them at their most raucous & adventurous. The violin parts are overdubbed.
                A kick ass earmeal.

The first pressing of USA is probably one of best sounding version/pressing of the album, that I heard so far. Would recommend this, if you can found one in a good condition and price.

NB: doesn't have the locked groove of the first pressing

I absolutely love the Vinyl Transfer on this DVD-A
NB: if i've understood all the different mixes correctly Eddie Jobson does NOT appear on the remixed CD, his overdubs are only on the DVD-A.
In summary excellent value set, classic but overlooked live album

                        beautiful sounding record.

the mixing is awesome and the sound is perfect (as in most of king crimson’s material).

the only thing that bugs me is that the recording cuts during asbury park (an amazing improvisation) because the tape recorder ran out, and a full recording was later discovered and mixed in the 90’s by robert fripp.

easy money fades out at about 6:30 minutes into the song.

the sleeve is well done, but the material is a bit thinner on the front side, so it’s a common thing to find slight ringwear on most copies.
