Various – Tommy (Original Soundtrack Recording)

My copy, recently purchased, has the labels on Sides 3 and 4 reversed, ie playing Side 3, I'm actually listening to Side 4 and vice-versa...anyone else have this version?

I have this, but my labels are just a bit different: "(P) 1975" is on the far left side of "TOMMY", and not below 33 1/3. Also my labels don't say "MADE IN HOLLAND" on them.

My copy has a "2" stamped in the middle of C8 grooves, the last track on side 3. Never seen that before. Looks too bumpy to run the stylus through it.

The sound samples are from Broadway show and not the soundtrack. The soundtrack is much much better.

I have the same Italian cover and similar label, but the copyright warnings around the edge of the label are written in Italian.

My copy version has batch code ID number AB00600 on cd ring.

This show is masterful. It's brilliant. The movie was good, The soundtrack - is the movie with all the great performances from the movie. It's brilliant.

this is a very nice japan reissue of this classic soundtrack from 1975, the discogs info above is only incorrect regarding this lps release as this is a budget reissue with a very nice green obi, this was released somewhere between 1984 and 1987 as the vinyl format was dying fast in japan due to the incoming cd format. this has a very glossy black sleeve and a thick booklet inside with photos from the film & lyrics in both english & japanese, i would say this copy is a lot more rare then both the first two japan pressings of this wich where both released in 1975, of coarse this has the same gatefold sleeve as the original pressing did.......

this was part 2 of a late 1970s italian pressing of the tommy soundtrack to the film from 1975, there is a volume 1 lp that goes with this set......
