The Saffron mix has no vocals in it. Wider stereo mix and big reverb on the Intro synths.

As the comment below suggests track 5 is the main original version with the Spandau Ballet 'Chant No 1' guitar sample which was removed from most if not all other general retail releases (because of that legal issue) but somehow found it's way onto the Australian CD single. It's not just that the sample was removed but the non-sample version also has clear differences in the intro riff and additional percussion parts to try and make up for the fact the sample was removed. If you compare side-by-side it's amazing how different they sound which was not apparent to me until many years after release.referencing Touch Me (CDr, Single, Promo) none
If you listen to the original mix found on the general release CD you can hear more prominent percussion around the 1:00 mark whereas on this version the percussion is still there but much lower in the mix with the sample playing clearly in the backround. To me without the sample the track doesn't quite flow as well like something is missing. That is what I thought at the time when I bought the CD single however I'm sure Radio 1 played the sample version as I always knew there was something fishy going on when I played the CD and it sounded different.referencing Touch Me (12", 33 ⅓ RPM) KMT004
Definitely a great tune! There's another piece of music floating all the way through this. I was having difficulties thinking it might have been a trance track... but no! The sequence of notes starting high and working their way down sounds like the ending theme from Bladerunner by Vangelis... (have a listen and see if you agree!)- Edited 8 years ago

Note that this is the re-release following the court case with Spandau Ballet, and so has the guitar sample removed - if you want the 'correct' original version you need to look at the earlier releases.
