- What's deal with 'Step Off (Gold Blend Mix)'? I've just downloaded this track and it's the exact same as 'Step Off (Original Mix)'.
- Edited one year agoBest version of Feelgood (feel better) or at least it is my favourite anyway.. A darker Journey than the rest ! Wonderful beat work and vibe, aged the best as well to my ears. More outstanding work from Foul Play.

this record makes me shiver almost 30 years down the (main)line- Anyone interested in purchasing this rare release needs to be aware that this CD is vulnerable to CD bronzing. I own this CD and it was cursed by being Manufactured in PDO UK. I bought a copy about 9 months ago, and it's starting to rot. If you don't know about this "CD disease" look for two main signs: Some weird "Coffee stain" on the playing side of the disc that usually starts on the edge of the disc. Check the outer ring to see where the CD was pressed. If the CD has some weird stain that most likely starts from the edge of the CD and has etched on the back ring: "Made in U.K. by PDO" that CD is very likely to have CD Bronzing. Apparently, not all CDs pressed on PDO UK have this message etched so it can be hard to know if the CD was pressed on PDO UK. Even CDs that look perfectly fine may start rotting in a few months.
- Edited 17 years agoOne of Omni Trio's greatest defining songs gets a superb rework from the Foul Play crew on this release. The vibe is definitely uplifted ten fold and turned into an instant classic. And although Feel Better is the star on this vinyl, Step Off is a great song as well that is unfortunately overshadowed by its counterpart.

Omni Trio's break-through masterpiece is an istant classic that set him on the map as one of the best breakbeat artists of all time. Mystic Stepper does exactly what it says in its title - it makes you feel good. With catchy synths and a rolling beat, there is no resisting this song. Stronger is a somewhat darker song backing up the X side, but dulls in comparison to this vinyl's highlight. Mainline is a fast-paced and infectious tune, accompanied by its slower, heavier remix which sadly doesn't differ much. However, any way you look at it, you can't deny this isn't the start of one glorious career. - Edited 19 years agoFoul Play always excelled at remix work and their incredible remix of Omni Trio's "Feel Good/Mystic Stepper" is one of my all time favorite tracks. It's an anthem which always got a huge response when played out at a rave, and still does. It's a rolling track with those lucious melancholy synth breakdowns and some great beat programming by the Foul Play boys. Technical skills were always one of their strong points as well as great songwriting, full of life and energy. I really can't think of a single Foul Play track which I don't like. "Feel Better (Foul Play Remix)" is one of those tracks which will never get old, this sounds as futuristic and interesting today as when it came out in 1993. Nuff respect!
