Is the disc label on this release really with green color? Someone has listed one for sale with a link to pictures and it is not green.- Edited 3 years ago

Tremendous LP ! There's no filler there, just about 50 minutes of constant pleasure. Some sounds do sound really early 90's though, but the beats are still fresh !
I particularly love some of the background futuristic, "cyber" bops that can be faintly heard beyond the dynamic guitars and the sonic booms, especially in "Welcome To My Mind" and "Shock On The Wire".
"I Am God" is my personal favorite, as its slower rhythm makes it closer to big beat, a style that will briefly be used later in "Panik Kontrol" before the band's separation. "Teknojihad" is a close second thanks to those super catchy guitar riffs.
"Silicon Jesus" and "Neutropia" both have intros that leave you stoned. I really enjoy the tribal vibes of the latter.
I really wonder how their third album would have sounded like, with a track such as "Panik Kontrol".
One of my favorite American acts along with The Crystal Method, Cirrus, DJ Icey and Pretty Lights. referencing Psykosonik (CD, Album, Reissue) TVT 7198-2
Don't know where to start with this one. It's too personal. When this was a new album I was forty years old and had my one year of being a hedonistic exhibitionist, going dancing four nights a week, loving to dance, loving this kind of music. "Psykosonik" was without question the soundtrack of my delayed year of adolescence. Nice crunchy beats, great tracks, great lyrics. Listening to "Silicon Jesus" now, fifteen years later, there is more than nostalgia here: this is a GREAT ALBUM!- Edited 18 years ago

A fabulous album! The music here is well ahead of its time and would still sound fresh on today's dancefloors. Psykosonik also composed the soundtrack for the cult favourite SNES videogame 'X-Kaliber 2097'. The game actually featured 16-bit renditions of tracks from this album which also sounded great! Most notable BGM tunes were 'Welcome To My Mind' and Technojihad'. This album combines classic techno with rock and vocal elements unmatched by most contemporary producers. And theres some emotion thrown into the music, too. A must listen to album!
