referencing Try Me Out (12", 45 RPM) MIX 769
Proof that original isnt always better. This version is quite dull and boring, even with Annerley on vocals. Its a shame because World Of Music is Lee Marrow 's own label under which he did some tasty bangers (Do You Want Me being my favourite, with To Go Crazy, Movin' and I Want Your Love being other honourable mentions). Corona's version on the other hand is a quality stormer with plenty of energy and the golden stamp of approval: performed by Sandy Chambers.
Im so sorry but im afraid this is gonna have to be a 1/5 for me. I do love that Late Night Bar mix tho so not all is bad.referencing Try Me Out (12", 45 RPM) MIX 769
The late night bar mix on Side B is killer. The drop after the first breakdown is a special moment. Very happy with it to say the least.referencing Try Me Out (12", 45 RPM) MIX 769
The Corona version is the one that got worldwide fame, but this original mix is pretty awesome too.
It's got a more clubby house vibe (less Eurodance), but it still rocks along very nicely.
The vocalist is very good indeed, and there's even some ravey stabs.
Of course, it still includes that euphoric piano line from Passion. I don't think Gat Decor were ever credited or paid for this!
