- Oh!!!!! No one has felt the need to say something about this LP. Mmmm!
I suppose , it could be said that truly great things speak for themselves with little or no need for, and it has to be 'said' (yes, I'm being ironic) what are usually empty/unsatisfactory words, especially when it comes to music. I mean who wants to be told and explained what the artist is doing while you're listening - you'd probably feel the urge to ask them, politely of course , to shut up.
I'm no jazz expert but I know good dance music when I hear it, and I know what will get a floor moving.
Every track is perfectly arranged, with deft samples, complex beats but not overly and pulsing bass that is essential to get a club rockin. I've used the whole album, using it as a warm up to 'middle of the night swingers' and it's always hit the spot. A DJ's dream and a listeners delight. You don't need to know anything about jazz or latin rhythms to instantly know this is a very classy collage/melting pot of all of these things. These producers who know their stuff, combining their love for jazz/latin music with their undoubted skills, have produced a monumental album.
That's all I've got to say ;-)
