Where's a dated acetate? Where's a set tape? One inspired another, both produced same year, white labeled same year.
If all we've got is a sole anecdotal statement (by someone who, in my years on Discogs, is obviously a shill), the jury is still out. Moonflight is a fairly solid track, nonetheless, but nothing to blow your brains out...referencing Moonflight (12", 33 ⅓ RPM) CLUB99001
Like the other comment, I'd also like to know (not that it really matters) which came first... the chick or the egg, moonlight or out of the blue. Out of the blue I would put my money on came first, simply because I feel this created a whole new genre of trance and likely caused every trance producer in the world to buy a JP8000.referencing Moonflight (CD, Maxi-Single) 870 853-2
Cheap copycat moneymaker completely based on Ferry Corsten's (System F) uber-hit "Out Of The Blue" from 1998. Similar drums, similar synths, similar bassline, similar melody – similar everything, basically. Just go and buy the original. It's more than worth it.referencing Moonflight (12", 33 ⅓ RPM) CLUB99001
System F Out of the Blue-is stuff. Wonder which one was first?referencing Moonflight (Remixes #2) (12") CLUB99001RR
I had this one on clear green vinyl. The Al-Faris & Andrew Wooden Deep Impact Mix is phenomenally deep. I wish I still had it to take a pic to add to the discog.
