demand for these first issue flame covers has increased quite a bit as people have been searching them out. back when I first bought this the median value was only about $15 now it’s skyrocketed to $40.
it is also a wonderfully mastered album and easily the best sounding original Lynyrd Skynyrd record you can own.

Love this album. Another Skynyrd hot pressing. Classic southern rock at it’s best.

My copy of this CD is yellow. I could not find it on discogs. All the current listings are either black or red CD's. Anyone else have a yellow?

Have an NM copy of this vinyl ( matching Matrix / Run-outs ) but with centre labels and a gatefold sleeve with small sticker "SAMPLE COPY" on the rear. - Maybe they just labelled-up the excess TPs to save a few dollars? - Any clues?

The best I can say about this one is it is not bad but the upgrade from the 1st flaming cover album is minimal. Depends on what you like. This one might have a bit more clarity and separation of instruments but the original has a lot more punch. Might be best to wait until the next remastering, hopefully by AP.

These 2015 lynyrd skynyrd pressings are outstanding pressings with very good sound and dynamics !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Found this moldy, crusty and beat to sh*t pressing in my parents basement. My sister’s early press copy. No, it’s not the infamously pulled “flame” cover, I’m not familiar with Gloversville Pressings being anything overly-spectacular nor have I heard or even read anything on Hoffman’s forums about the 2011 mofi release but all i can say as once I cleaned it several times, I was downright shocked to hear how good the soundstage was on this pressing. Even with leftover residual minor snap and crackle this thing BANGS through on my system. Looks like you can get a VG++ of it for dirt cheap and I say save your money on the fancy stuff and pick this one up. I’ll think you’ll be more than satisfied.
