Just listened to this. A great album. Surprised Dynamix II are not more well known.
I heard about them when my brother bought 'Just Give The DJ A Break' on 12 inch.- Dynamix II are the pioneers of Electro Bass and this is a must have compilation of their earliest and finest work. Set your home subwoofer to stun or better yet, give the subs in the trunk of your car a serious workout.
- I bought this on a whim in Tokyo when it was released. When I got home I was blown away. I had been into old school electro in the early to mid-eighties but had never heard of Dynamix II. They seemed to have never stopped cranking out the electro since that time and it sounded fantastic. I thought electro had pretty much died as rap took over hip hop music. Little did I know. Totally dope music.
- Surely a classic compilation of the sound called
Miami bass coming from one of my favorite labels
Rephlex.
a must have release for electro heads out there
