This pressing sounds phenomenal ! Loud, deep and extremely clear. The sound is round and vibrant. The band is in the room litterally.
More dynamic than my original UK.

I came to this album with some reluctance. I love CSN(&Y) together and I love most of the solo albums. But the pairing albums from the 70s were mostly underwhelming to me, particularly the mid-70s Crosby-Nash albums. So when this one showed up in a batch of garage sale vinyl I bought bulk I was going to skip over it. Glad I didn't! Couldn't help but spin twice in a row. Helps that this is magnificently recorded and mixed. Wonderful Artisan pressing. This album can be bought clean for a couple bucks on Discogs - great value!

I don't know much about pressings but on a second play of this album I found the music to be uninspiring. It is pleasant enough, not terrible at all but just has no thrills or excitement. They save the best track for last and even that fades out just when the guitar solo is getting interesting. I don't think I would include any of these tunes on a best of, maybe a fair to middling of.

Beautifully mastered by Bernie Grundman (not surprising) and dead quiet pressing. I've had a number of pressing of this album and this beats 'em all, IMO.
