Sarah McLachlan – Touch

Wow, this record sounds amazing! It's so dynamic and there was very little surface noise that I heard, but I'm sure with a really good clean it would be completely silent. What a great addition to my collection!

Sadly, Sarah is not a fan of this gem of an album. I do believe it is her least favorite album. As she has gotten older there is a chance she has come to possibly appreciate it,- this album has always been my favorite.

In reference to a variant, 25R/W2 045. Rich, vital, open, dynamic. With Capitol Records logo to the right of the Nettwerk logo on the disc face. No barcode.

anybody know how many copies of this were pressed? i am shocked this doesnt fetch more!

A nice clean, crisp, resonant recording and excellent digital transfer. Having only ever listened to the first edition release way back when, I struggle with some of the mixes, but hey, variety is part of the spice of life.

This treasure has been with me since I read the 5 star Calgary Sun review by David Veitch and rushed off to Sam the Record man in Sunridge Mall where another Calgary icon, Mike Bezzeg, had the disc in the stacks ready for sale... and they only had one! This edition is as uncompressed as one is likely to here on any recording and it sounds amazing!!! FYI, the retail price was $25.99.

An album filled with gorgeous majestic spiritual essence.

Beautifully recorded album. Audiophiles should enjoy this immensely. Pressing is very quiet and Sarah is right out in front.

Ben's Song (78 Version) is the standard track made to sound as if it was on an old record player. it's exclusive to this release and is not even featured on the 1988 cassette nor vinyl.
