Bought this in 1983 from Tower Records I think….A raw sound, still has some polish but raw in spots. All for the good though, great sound from that early 80s metal.referencing Ratt (12", EP, Club Edition) 7 A1-90245
Kickass EP by Ratt! And this vinyl sounds Awesome. Cheap unknown label puts out a better sounding pressing than a lot of the bigger name labels! Thumpin bass, crystal clear highs and mids with great separation of instruments. Cool record to have for the 80’s metal fans!referencing Ratt (12", 33 ⅓ RPM, EP, Stereo) 790 245-1
Just picked up a copy of this German pressing, and I am impressed for one very particular reason.
The Bass Guitar is so much better on this album for the track "Back for More", as opposed to the "Out of the Cellar" original release version. You can hear the deep bass guitar "twangs" on this album, which are not at all prevalent on the previous album that I compared it to.
If you love this particular track, which is one of their most famous, I recommend you pickup this copy to further complete your vinyl collection.referencing Ratt (12", EP, Silver label) TC-2203
Awesome record! Feels like a slightly polished demo and I love records like that. You hear the off time on the drums, the bad cord strokes and vocals that float off the note a little - all the better in my book.- Edited 4 years agoEarly version of RATT - the song - Your in Trouble- which was not released on Time Coast - Lp , cassette , cd . Later saw the light of day on ... RATT - Out of the Cellar .

Great hard rockin' EP. Sounds like very polished demos but overall awesome sound with a raw edge. Essential for Ratt fans.- Edited 4 years ago

The EP that launched the career of one of the 80s most iconic 'hair metal' bands. The production has a distinct demo feel and the guitars sound boxy as hell, but it's all the better for the rawness. Beau Hill subsequently took this rough diamond of a band and polished it into the multiplatinum arena band that very much set the standard for riff metal during the decade.
A classic 'must own' if you're serious about the genre. referencing Ratt (12", EP) 90245-1-Y
Nice sounding pressing but lacks some bass for sure, I do love the raw production which is very typical of 80’s west coast metal at time like Crue’s first. First three Ratt albums stand up real nice many years later in my opinion.referencing Ratt (12", EP) 90245-1-Y
Back For More sounds so 'raw' compared to the version found on 'Out Of The Cellar'. Otherwise, a cool listen.
