Great sounding record. Bought mine new in store 38 years ago. No printed inner on my copy.

Elevated by his heels, Malmsteen masturbates his guitar to show us how good he is. There's little to save in this record. Being able to fire a thousand notes per second on the guitar does not mean being a good musician, and Yngwie confirms it in every solo.

This is the best CD pressing without doubt, it has even better dynamics than the vinyl pressing and the first CD pressing.
Other important thing, this 2016 remaster sound objetively more balanced and clean than the previous pressings.

Essential Yngwie LP. He is always at his best playing instrumental music, and here we have the amazing "Trilogy suite Op:5".
"Magic Mirror" is pretty great as well, right up there with some of his best tracks like "I am a viking" and "Black Star".
Recommended for all friends of Ultimate guitar shredding.

How to explain Malmsteen for those not familiar with his work? Imagine if a jazz guitarist decided to record a heavy metal album. The man is amazing. As I listen to him, I think, this is more jazz, than metal. But it's both. And it's excellent. It's also got quite a bit of pop sensibility in it. His music is just excellent. I've loved everything I've heard from him. This album is no exception.

Compared to Marching out,the songs are better here.Production is a notch better.Yngwie's playing is absolutely amazing.The sound of his guitar has a little more edge to it compared to earlier albums.Imo this is the peak of his career.
