I think Bukem was at his peak in 1995. He found a jungle rhythm that concurrently captured the essence of soul music with an element drive & energy... This, in terms of fusing a number of cohesive production elements, finds itself in the realm of endlessness beauty & this by the way, is as good as its gets from a production & execution perspective.

Easily one of his best tunes in my view. The aura surrounding Demon's Theme will always be unmatched & the heart piecing rhythms found in every other record produced by him will always be remembered but there's something truly special here, the delays in the high hats, echoing & rolling claps, the single tuned persistent synth makes for a soul stretched out capturing moment & experience that is bottled sequenced to perfection is close to being unmatched.

The exquisite bass that's perfectly braked, is one of many elements found in this tune that is just well & perfectly balanced: I'll always remember Daniel for this remixed track specifically: Play this record at 150 or 155 bpm max & absorb all the the rhythms & soulfulness. Higher BPM's give intensity but they'll always lack in soul.

this is the business. it is too bad they didnt='t press it at 45 since it sounds very good slowed down. samples "Bless The Funk" by Double J i believe.

A class mix by LTJ Bukem, great melodies and simple beat with devastating effect. Yes the vinyl is an edited version, but only by 30 secs or so.
At these prices it's worth snapping up if you're into this style of DnB and haven't done so.
Or even better a few quid more for the single sided 10" longer version.

As far as I know, this promo 12" is the only place you will find these particular Deep Dish remixes. They are not renamed mixes found on the regular release as sometimes happens, but different ones altogether. These mixes are more stripped down than their remixes found on the official releases, and benefit from a deeper sound. A nice counterpoint to Deep Dish's 'No Doze' mix and dub, good in themselves, but these remixes here are a real treat for Deep Dish admirers.
