Jerry while he was still in RAYDIO but had not yet formed Ollie & Jerry. "Overnight Sensation" is from his debut LP and likely the standout.
Great vibe here, and the rock guitars give it an edge. The outro chorus goes on for a solid minute longer than on the LP version, with lots more guitar and vocal ad libs.
You apparently can't even give away this record at the prices listed but I've always had a fondness for it.
Weirdly overlooked 12". Nice mid tempo, late disco/early boogie cross over. Warm, soulful, catchy chorus. Worth checking out.
