The songs: awesome dream pop, beautiful soundscapes. incredible album!
The pressing: decent, quiet & clean. lofi & compressed, which is sort of the point i guess, dynamics are a bit flat. not much of an improvement over the digital release.

Always hoped Underneath Us would be included, and my prayers were answered.

The only thing is, the pressing has bubbles in it, causing noise in some areas. I have never seen this on an LP before.

my blue copy of this from 2014 doesn't sound as bad as many claim, and i've gotten used to the muffled sound quality of this album, both on vinyl and digital, for a decade. this new remaster certainly brings more definition to the instruments and vocals, giving you a more well-rounded listening experience. but i like the original too!

Smooth but full sound - vocals really are 3D and the mix is just *chef's kiss*.

Great looking packaging and love the blue and clear vinyl. Unfortunately, I’ve cleaned it twice now and there is still a ton of surface noise harshing my mellow.

All the sounds here are crispy clear except the sun-crisped guitar which is just as delicious as it is on the digital version. Worth the buy if you are into the album already.

Zero surface noise, flat, and by far the best sounding press of this record. My least favorite Alvvays record but damn I love this press and highly recommend it. People giving it bad reviews either got a junk copy or their setup sux.

Looks great - I miss the wall of sound, but it's nice to have more clarity in the instruments, finally hearing new little parts I've missed after hearing the songs hundreds of times.
