Beside the on the first view commercial/overground seeming release the listener gets a surprise because of the enjoyment of listening to a high quality techno-trance or perhaps even could called hardtrance-tune. The most fitting version of Alarm is IMO the original - the 1st track on the 4tracker Denmark cd-release. Baker is known from his hugh hit "Kaos" from the early 90s but also because of other great tracks, appearing for example on releases like 'Fragments From A Space Cadet'. An added value is the great lost Torsten Fenslau technotrance track "Vie La Vie" which is known from one of his great mix-sets for HR3 Clubnight saturday nights. Bager and Fenslau are very talented music producers, unfortunately Fenslau died much too early. Fenslau created tracks with varied parts and fresh sounds in this era.
The last track goes around this topic, its a dedication to a dead friend. The result is a more calmer, darker track without big rythm patterns. A track to think about... All over a very good release with a lot of deep energy for the dancefloor.
