Anyone else’s copy have “Hear That Sound” as track B3 with “On My Way,” closing the album as track B6?
The track listing is correct on the sleeve for the release, but they’ve been mispressed on the LP.

Is this copy still being sold with the Back to Black hype sticker? As well as the download voucher?
        Mine came with neither.

Ace sounding press. However I don't have an original to compare it to. Fantastic way to experience it first time though. I should note this is my first MOFI press

Pretty happy with the sound on this album. Most INXS on vinyl is ok, This is probably best of the bunch. Needed a good wet clean after purchase though

This album has "By My Side" songwriting credit to Andrew Farriss & Kirk Pengilly
On the single (for example By My Side), Kirk is removed and Michael Hutchence and producer Chris Thomas are added to Andrew.
On the 2002 X and The Greatest Hits the credit goes to Andrew Farriss/Kirk Pengilly/Chris Thomas.

What's the truth behind this one?

Mine isn’t Gatefold but can’t see it anywhere on Discogs.

Can anyone else with this release comment on how thick the spine is? The spine on my copy is almost 1/4” thick, despite it being a pretty thin single LP. Great sounding pressing, though.

I am an INXS fan, and X is my favourite album of them all. All songs are fantastic, from the first to the last, the hits and the ones not chosen to be singles are beautiful tunes, and all of them have great lyrics. The band members show how much they have grown with age and touring, moreover, they don't get stuck and repeat the successful formula they have achieved with Kick, but they push it forward instead. They still sound as rocker as they used to, you will find some similarities in the way the songs are composed, but you won't find resemblance between this songs and the ones in Kick. Besides the radio hits we all know by now, there are more insightful, deeper and personal songs: Fiath in each other invites everybody to work for a better world to live in, Who pays the price is about not blaming someone else for your own mistakes, The Stairs make us recognize ourselves in others and Hear that sound tells you when in doubt you have to listen to your heart.

This album was one of the best music companion I had ever since, it might be considered the soundtrack of my life. I am so keen on this album that I have all the different releases. First I bought the tape, which eventually I gave away to a friend since I also purchased the Mercury CD. Then I found the Atlantic release with the poster-like booklet. Then I came across the Atlantic vinyl release in mint condition. And recently I purchased the POP OUT 3D edition and the 2002 Rhino reissue which includes awesome bonus tracks. The demo versions of Dark of night and Who pays the price are superb. The previously unreleased tracks Waiting to be free and Salvation Jane (demo) are wonderful songs as they are, and I dare to say that I like the demo version best than the version which is on INXS Definitive. But the first prize goes to Deepest red, which appear as a b-side of INXS 1992 CD single Heaven sent, but it still is, to my taste, one of the greatest songs INXS has ever written.

So, if you don't have this album, and you are into rock, you must have this album, especially this edition in which the booklet contains extra pictures which are as amazing as the songs in the album. And you will hear one of the greatest bands at their peak!
