Probably the worst-recorded 4 Beards release I've heard. For some reason, Buckley's voice goes over the limiter at every moment, perhaps mastered WAYYYYYYYYY too high, you'd think they'd hear what they're taping over to vinyl? I've heard the Van der Graaf remasters, the Nyro CD's, but this may the worst..

It's about subtlety and dynamics, then when EVERYTHING breaks the limiter, it's a little distracting. Please, avoid.

One of the five best albums I've ever heard... Extremely beautiful and spine-chilling. I never tire of hearing it.

Fully the equal of Starsailor, Lorca has takes his folk/ jazz sound further out from Happy/ Sad towards the free styling shores that he would shortly set sail across. Has a very live sound and you feel very present in the acoustic space of the recording.
