Eurythmics – Be Yourself Tonight

Production and sound on this LP are excellent. It’s very lively. Good album in my opinion.

Sounds very good. Dynamic and three dimensional. Listen to "Ball And Chain". Love it!!

Had such high hopes for this. Got a really clean copy (paid extra for it). Sounds horrible. Sounds like I’m listening through a tin can. Oh well. Win some, lose some.

Just bought a used version a record show and would have never known if I hadn't read this.

I don't know if it is just my copy, but this pressing has no bass at all. Crazy!

I have purchased three copies over the course of the past year, all plagued by similar surface noise (clicks. crackles) on the first two tracks of Side 2. As with the first two copies. I am returning the third, defective merchandise is unacceptable.

Does anyone out there know why "Sisters Are Doin' It For Themselves is about a half minute shorter here than on the other cd releases?

Runout etchings same as mine, no hand writing on label just all the printed German txt, plane white inner sleeve only.

Eurythmics - Be Yourself Tonight with matrix SONOPRESS D-4787 / ND74602 C has a mastering fault in track 2 (There Must Be An Angel) at 05:05 (05:05.96) which sounds as a "tick" in the right channel, but is in fact two samples at 0 dB (i.e. full modulation) followed by 0.001 seconds of silence.

The left channel just has the silence without the preceding 'tick', and is too short to hear. You can see it when you zoom in on the waveform, however. Not sure if it's present on any other versions prior to the 2005 remaster. remasters.

This pressing sucks. I have 2 of them, who look EX, but both sounds VG. Noise between songs and in quiet parts.
