The Bug – Angels & Devils

I've followed The Bug for more than two decades now and his ability to manipulate low end frequencies and his attention to rhythmical detail is unparalleled, but Pandi, for me is his absolute zenith.
No guest MCs or poets, no industrial dancehall and no nightmarish ambience.
Pandi is an all-enveloping, Delia Derbyshire-like, emotional steam roller of a track. Fuzzy LaMonte Young drones and building, swelling swathes of synth lines make this an unforgettable musical journey.

Not off centre, but levels for C3 are all over the place. But on three occasions the volume drops, very prominently, on C3. v weird. Mine is a first pressing - no reference to Soundmasters in the runout - only D2 skips (using a 1210) at the very start, but that is my fav track on this album so :'-(

Off center, same problem as lordvince. First track on side A skips a lot, rest seems ok. Needle is doing a lot of work to stay on track though

Washed out edgeless psychedelia, the only acid on this was consumed by the creator, disappointing after the singles.

I dont like the album. It is not The Bug. This is another project. The Bug name is used, cuz it is known.
This album is retarted beauty.

vinyl is off center anyone have this problem ? except of this really great album

pressing is really top one. sounds fantastic! album is killer.

My copy came direct from Ninja Tune with a replacement disc for the 2nd disc. Anyone know what was wrong with the original press? The replacement disc got very scuffed up in shipping. Edit: meant to put this on the vinyl release page. Woops.
