Anyone opened this to find a white/blue quarter split instead of splatter?

"Better Living Through Chemistry" is the first album from Fatboy Slim. While there are some songs I loved the first time listening to it, there are some songs that took me several listens before it grew on me.

I love the first three tracks, especially "Song For Lindy" and "Going Out Of My Head". "Going Out Of My Head" has that drum beat from Led Zeppelin's "The Crunge".

"The Weekend Starts Here" has a lay back tone to it. It shows that even though Fatboy Slim's main genre is party music, he's capable of making chill tunes as well.

"Everybody Needs a 303" has the sample of Edwin Starr's "Everybody Needs Love" that plays throughout the track. It's funky. But I don't think the sample of the cheering audience fits well with the song. If Fatboy Slim had taken the audience sample out, I think the song would have been better.

"Give The Po'Man A Break" is a cool track. I like that "Give The Po' Man A Break! BAM BAM Give the Po' Man A Break!"

"10th And Crenshaw" is a nice song. It's the shortest track, at 4 minutes and 20 seconds.

"First Down" is the weakest track IMO. Not even the saxophone makes it better. It's not crappy. I just don't think it's awesome comparatively.

"Punk To Funk" is one of the best tracks IMO. The drums to it definitely remind me of the big beat genre.

"The Sound of Milwaukee" is another track I find the weakest. But it's still nice to listen to while driving.

"Michael Jackson" has a cool guitar riff. It's another one of the best songs in the album.

The synth sound at the beginning of "Next To Nothing" reminds me of the PlayStation 2 startup sound. But it's another chill tune from Norman Cook himself.

I like "Better Living Through Chemistry" more than I did the first several times I listened to it. But I'm still going to go ahead and give it a B+.

This pressing sounds fantastic if anyone is wondering. I got this pressing specifically because the EU pressing omits some tracks and even though the order is out of whack, it's still worth having.

Fantastic! Clean, flat and flawless pressing. Dynamic! Audiophile quality. It has a full and expansive sound. I got mine from Amazon. This one was done right!

is there anything obvious on the reissue version of Better Living Through Chemistry (Skint ‎– BRASSIC 2LP) that differentiates it from the original? (also Skint ‎– BRASSIC 2LP)

Does anyone know how many of these yellow pressings were made? It's stated as a limited edition, but I can't find any information on how many were made.

The first big beat album in history after "Exit Planet Dust", and also Fatboy's best one. It keeps you moving non stop with these solid percussions, light melodies and 303 loops.
I absolutely love his first three releases under the Fatboy Slim moniker, however I have to say that "Better Living Through Chemistry" is the only record I truly enjoy from first to last, and it will always have a special place in my heart.
The nineties at their prime. Having hate is a crime.
In 2017, we desperately need music like this. Big beat needs a comeback !

Need to say that Idris Muhammad's "Loran's Dance" was (first?) used earlier by the Beastie Boys for "To All The Girls" on the "Paul's Boutique" album. That was in 1989, 6 years before Jestofunk. Best regards DJMRST
