referencing The Jungle Remix's (12", 45 RPM, Promo) HAN 006
Another very underrated hardcore 12" in my opinion. Uses mainly techno and electro elements fused inside manic, edited, carved beats. Most of the beats are from older drum machine programmed freestyle electro tracks. It makes a change from the obligatory amen, Lyn Collins, funky drummer, hot pants etc organic breaks which started to become prevalent at this time. Personally I wouldn't call it Jungle even though its title refers to that sound. If I was pushed I might've called this Jungle Techno. Tell Me Somethin' (Remix) is my favourite here, similar to the original but the main riff is tuned slightly differently. Although Lets Go (Remix) sounds rough as they come in the mix. Tell Me Somethin' (Remix) was a subtle indicator of a change in the scene to a slightly darker sound a bit later on, but still playful enough.
