i prefer the original cover but this 1975 reissue sounds absolutely fine
this will definitely be of interest to those who enjoyed Dave Holland + John Mclaughlins work with Miles Davis
it grows on me more with every listen, i think it might be my favourite album of all time. its got everything, brooding reflective pieces and balls-to-the-wall thrashing noise rock/jazz. if your favourite Nirvana song is Gallons of Rubbing Alcohol flow through the strip or if you've chased down every bootleg of Public Image's 1980 US tour you should check this out and don't be put off like words like "Jazz" . i have a cd reissue that came out under John Surmans name but compared to the vinyl it sounds somewhat distant, still a beast but not in your face.
the best thing is probably to get a copy of this 1975 pressing with the hideous cheesy rainbow cover
