You generally won't go wrong with a C.J. Bolland remix.

Darey remix! What can I say?! I first heard it on Gatecrasher National Anthems and the distinctive sound blew me away completely. Listening to it today and it still sends the shivers! Incredible. Massive top 10 trancer, and best remix in my opinion. Can't believe there aren't any other reviews.

Wow! No comments for this release..?!

I think this record was the first time I heard anything from Matt Darey and since then I've always followed his tracks and remixes.
The guy is a genius (or was back in the golden era of trance). I still play this record today. Masterpiece :)

Just randomly came across the vocal sample while checking B-Sides of some house tracks, they sampled 'Kym Mazelle - Useless' and even though I've played both tracks hundreds of times, I never clicked.

The Westbam mix is a bit of an emotive 4-beat happy hardcore feature from the time!

The happy hardcore / hardtrance stuff (back then, this style of music was usually simply called "rave") from 1993-95 is still my favorite phase in Westbam's work. All of the tracks he did back then, be it as Westbam, Members Of Mayday or under other names, were full of energy, had great melodies and also a lot of humor, which most of his later "technolectro" work was lacking in my opinion. "Wizards Of The Sonic" was one of those great tunes, built around a fast beat and a melody taken from the "Sonic The Hedgehog" video games. The remixes featured here are all nice takes on the track with the Westbam Remix being closest to the original. CJ Bolland goes into hardtrance / techno territory with his mix, while Westbam's Dub is the most underground-friendly of the three and already has many electro elements.
