Incredibly dynamic digital transfer is an audiophile delight. Percussive, vital, inspired.

I have multiple copies of this album on LP including the CBS half speed master pressing as well as the Switched on Box Set remastered CD and this reel to reel bests them all. The warmth and depth are unparalleled. This is truly the best way for this masterpiece to be experienced.

I remember when my father brought this album home. We all LOVED it. LOVED IT!!!! I can't tell you how many times I sat and listened to it.

Wendy Carlos is a national treasure. Her collaboration with Moog changed the musical world.

Her Air on a G String is sublime. But really, everything on this album is brilliant. I'm sure this album introduced an entire generation to Bach.

If you are really into this, the Moog Museum in Asheville NC is worth visiting.

Historically significant recording that introduced millions of classical music lovers to electronic music and millions of popular music lovers to classical music. Hearing it for the first time in 50 years it didn't impress me as much now as it did in 1970 but was still enjoyable.

My copy is almost identical except it doesn't have the black "SWITCHED-ON BACH" title at the bottom, only the German title in white letters at the top.

Even though release year was 1971, on the back cover you can read "℗ 1969"
