Vincent Gallo, Various – Buffalo 66

my copy (#0073/1000) has pops and clicks at the first two tracks A-side. preordered and shipped saved and sealed. so I wonder is that "high fidelity pressing" a sad try ? what about your copy ?

my copy has pops and clicks on both sides. very surprised considering my brown bunny reissue is clean and clear. I was also hoping for a booklet of frames from the film, maybe bts pictures or shot lists, etc. to make it worth the retail price.

This is definitely one of the record in my collection that I have the most mixed feelings with.
First of all, I love the artwork, the design, the soundtrack and above all, I absolutely adore this movie!!!
However, I'm a little disappointed with the overall presentation of this record.
I had to buy it from a reseller because when I learned about it's existence, it was obviously already sold out.
So I paid a price that I consider quite high for a record that has just been released but it was absolutely unthinkable for me to not have it in my life.
I received it sealed from the reseller and as these treasures are made to be appreciated in their entirety and that I have no intention of selling my records, I unsealed it.
My joy faded slightly when I saw the inner sleeve in which the vinyl is slipped, all crumpled, with small tears around the round central window.
I had all the trouble in the world to slide the vinyl back into its inner sleeve and the inner sleeve back into the cover.
It eventually went in but it was so tight that I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get it back in place without damaging it. Another thing I found strange is that this record is taller and wider than all my other records.
My outer sleeves are therefore not suitable for this one.
So I will have to buy other inner and outer sleeves just for this one.
In short, I am very happy to count this unique little marvel among my collection but at this price (which was already not cheap at the retail price),
I would have expected better overall quality.

Man, I saw the red bar on ETR stop around 70% sold for a few days, went on with my card 24 hours later and sold out. Really regret dragging my feet on this, I think the sudden push that sold every lady copy was from Vincent posting it to social media but... you win some...you lose most

Someone message Vincent Gallo and let him know his record is in extreme demand and insanely high prices. Maybe he would sign a reissue. This movie and soundtrack are among my favorites.

I had this back when it came out. The black/white/gray artwork looked great.

The 90s were a good time for independent film. You could go to your nearest video store and find new independent films on VHS pretty much weekly.
