Queen Latifah – All Hail The Queen

Is there a different press or version of this. I have one without a barcode and says CRC on back cover. Also on both side of matrix it says Randy Mahon Jr

This UK issue has a different version of "Come Into My House"! Didn't know that before. Both versions are good and interesting, this one here is a bit more mellow. I prefer the better known version a bit more.

My copy loops at Latifah’s Law. Anyone else with the same problem?

My copy sounds fantastic. Booming though my speakers, loud and clear.

One of my fave albums from this late 80's/early 90's Yo! Mtv Raps era. Jazzy, house hip-hop. The sounds on this record are excellent. Super quiet and I didnt heard any loud noise as an earlier review mentions. Was actually nervous about this record but sounds pretty excellent to me. I dont think its been remastered and if I had a gripe, Id say it may just be lower in volume but thats an easy fix and most likely intentionally done to make this a 1LP pressing. Anyway, recommended for sure.

A very nice vinyl when it comes to looks and should be in everybody's collection.When it comes to sound quality they kind of messed it up a bit. There's a loud hirsch noise before the start of Dance For Me and further almost between every track. Compared to the 1989 release the tracks sounds way better but why did they get so much noise between tracks. Vinyl Me Please, you can do way better than this!

Incredibly solid debut from Latifah, with a panoply of skilled producers giving her all sorts of sweet territory to drop sure-footed, confident rhymes, raggamuffin stylings, and occasional singing over. The 45 King, Prince Paul, Louis Vega, Daddy-O (Stetsasonic), KRS-One, Stereo MC's all pop in to give a diverse selection of grooves and beats, from rugged to smooth hip-house (though luckily not TOO much of the latter). Great samples. Good lyrics, sometimes very topical. Nice guests: Monie Love, Daddy-O, KRS-One, De La Soul, 45 King, etc. Pretty much classic. Overall, I prefer this to any other QL full length, though she still had some really great songs after this.
