referencing Anything Goes!, CD, Album, COL 477238 2
There are great bands, who represent every genre, every era and every generation.
It is a real tragedy that great bands, often become lost, even unnoticed, within the complex marketing machine, we call, The Music Industry.
However, every once in a while there comes a glimmer of hope from within the endless din. Against all odds, something quite rare occurs and a talented group of musicians and singers, with access to every resource imaginable, actually utilise their gift and indeed their popularity, to create something quite remarkable.
‘Anything Goes’ regardless of any stigma or preconception one has about C & C Music Factory, firmly secures their place in history as a truly inspirational, innovative and great band.
As an Album, ‘Anything Goes’ is an essential for any lover of good music and certainly worthy of consideration, if you were stuck on a desert island with only one album to listen to.
This album really takes you on a journey and is surprisingly powerful. Some may even argue that this album is moving and touches ones soul.
Since ‘Anything Goes’ also represents the sad demise of David Cole, this album, in my humble opinion, offers a heartfelt goodbye from an incredible Producer.
I also like to think that with Robert Civilles and the rest of the gang, they created an Album that would stand the test of time and keep C & C in our memories forever.
‘Anything Goes’ stands testament to the awesome talent that created it and is a gift to all that listen.
