Sleater-Kinney ‎– No Cities To Love

What an absolute delight this box set is! The album is an absolute monster, full of amazing songs, inspired performances, and hard-hitting production. The bonus 12-inch contains two excellent non-album tracks on one-side, and an etching of the album art on the other side. Both records are heavyweight and flat as can be. The records are housed in an amazing tri-fold sleeve made of thick cardboard. As if that weren’t enough, the sleeve fits snugly (but not tightly) into a larger box that offers alternate, highly appealing versions of the album’s front and back artwork. Plus, the box isn’t some flimsy afterthought: it’s thick and sturdy, perfectly constructed to protect the precious items within. My sole quibble is that the records themselves come in paper sleeves rather than protective, poly-lined inners. Otherwise, a magnificent set worthy of one of the greatest bands ever to walk the earth!
