The song "Boys" was a source of inspiration for other Italian-disco music producers in Italy! For example, the song "Just A Game" sung by "Vanessa" (the real name of the singer I think is Clara Moroni) was made in 1989, and if we listen carefully to this song, we can realize that the sound is very similar to that of the song "Boys" sung by Sabrina!

The cover art is really amazing on this 7 inch- New recorded Vocal...

- Edited 18 years agoSabrina was discovered as a precocious teenager by Genova manager Giampiero Menzione at a talent contest and groomed to be a show-girl from the very start. She was hired in to dance, act and occasionally to sing for Italian TV channel Canale 5 and went on later on to become an actress.
The most notable element of the success of “Boys” was its video. At one crucial point, her bikini’s bra falls off revealing a well-formed boob during a dance-like move while in a swimming pool.
That was an unintended mishap, but kept in the video and even enhanced by slow motion against Sabrina’s wishes! The video caused a bit of a stir in Italy, and Sabrina’s “Boys” was picked up from Five Records Italy on licenses to various labels in Europe, including of course Mega for Scandinavia.
