- Just gave this a spin in my (very) slow prep for their 2022 fall shows. My copy was filthy and even after cleaning fresh, my pressing isn't great. However, the sound is excellent. Sounds similar to the 2000 boots, which to me is a good thing. Missing Dead Man, but otherwise a really fun show, especially for a Binaural lover like myself.
- Many people received scratched copies of this record when it was released. To get a replacement disc I had to smash my scratched record and send them a pic. The scratches probably happened when the records were slipped into the tight sleeves. People who buy "sealed" copies should keep this in mind. Great recording.
- Awesome concert, only thing that sucks about this release is the lack of "Dead Man Walking", which is listed on the setlist in the package. Highlights are "Daughter", "MFC", "Greivance", "Wishlist", "Thin Air", & "Nothing As It Seems"
- Wow, this LP sounds very, VERY good. Just the right amount of crowd noise - not too much, but enough to remind you it's kickin' live. Nearly the entire playing of what was then their new album, Binaural, just 3 songs being missed. A very loose feel to this very first show of this tour, with Eddie calling it a practice or rehearsal several times. But again, I find the sound to be nearly perfect. The instruments all coming out well balanced on my modest system. Also, this thing is quite seriously packaged. A large hard-covered book with the 3 individual sleeves attached like pages to the inside, with pictures throughout. My only complaint being I like to have all my sleeves lined with poly to avoid needless scuffs on the vinyl and it may take me a little more effort to get some lined into these sleeves. And it takes the large, box-set-sized jacket cover for this "book" instead of the typical LP-sized sleeve. But those are very nit-picky complaints. This one's a keeper, without a doubt. (I cannot believe there are 16 copies up for sale here right now. I do understand that people need money in these hard times but like I said, I believe this one's a keeper!)
