I had the chance to listen to three copies and all three were pressed poorly with most of the same problems in the same spots. I know, "it's vinyl!" But it does take away from enjoying the music.

Picked this up earlier this year. Revisited it tonight to check my copy for issues, listening in full in headphones on a good setup. Don't notice any issues on the copy I have (purchased through Superior Viaduct's shop). Might be a few that have problems while others are okay. Just wanted to reply here as if any others can chime in to see if they have issues or no issues we can all try to figure out if just a few have problems. Reason being, it's a KILLER recording to have spinning on your turntable(s).

Yes, a sealed copy that I bought also has the same issues, scratches and noise, possibly from the lacquer being mishandled during pressing. A shame that such amazing music has been spoilt by production faults.

Brief review: most of songs were apparently intended to mimic the effects of various drugs and if there' s one group (while I doubt whom were heavy drug users) could present aurol impressions of the use of illicit drugs it would be Gruppo di Improvvisazione Nuova Consonanza. Well worth the purchase price but as it's limited to 500 copies it won't be around forever.
