I am not sure I can explain why my copy sounds so good - mastering and pressing - which can be at great variance with other reviews here and in other noted forums. It could be simply who gets a bad pressing and who doesn’t? The problems noted don’t show up on my copy. Very pleased. Very clear, decent separation and vibrant without being overdone.

It does sounds hot, like MANY mono pressing/masters where recorded and mastered. The pressing is perfect, the mastering is fantastic. It is a different sound from the classic stereo pressing and that´s FINE.

My copy is variable to say the least. Side 1 is pretty good, vocals nice and clear, but side 2 has all sorts of groove distortion on it over the first couple of tracks. And the last track on side 2 has the vocals out of phase (I haven't heard an original copy but I can't believe it has the same problem).
