Edited 6 years agoTo use language like "innovative" or "trance-inducing" couldnt possibly do the music on this release justice. Its a layered labyrinth of textured tones & hypnotic funk, sliding through intersections of drone/ambient/electronica & dubby 4/4 house. As the reviewer Isma states so succinctly, this is one of those rare gems to completely disintegrate into. Across the entire duration, both parts are always one step ahead of your expectations & the overall quality of its various mood transitions are incredibly rare & fluid. If you enjoy Terre Thaemlitz's work & Sun Ra's more synth-heavy esoteric releases, this is an absolute must. Turn on, tune in & turn it up, then rewind & give your mind another rinsing.

What else to say, very strong and FRESH release, i ended up by buying a second copy of this gem so i can mix one side after another ;)
